Iam glad to see that David Briggs’ interest in sports, including Perrysburg’s, allowed him to bring a lot of sometimes ignored statistics to light, especially their moderate cost per pupil compared to other similar schools in Ohio.

When I see signs opposing the school levy in front of frightfully expensive homes, I wonder how these owners can forget that poor schools will bring down the value of their home. As a former auditor of school districts, it never fails to shock me that community members that oppose school levies can be so unaware of how difficult it is to predict the sometimes astronomical growth in their district, as Perrysburg has experienced.
This is especially true when a levy must predict for a number of years in the future.
