CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The city of Charlottesville is looking to buy a building and create a new low-barrier shelter to serve the area's homeless population.

City Council will need to sign off on spending $6.2 million for the building at the end of Holiday Drive, right by the Whole Foods on Hillsdale.
