Cancer Council Queensland is facing serious allegations of a toxic workplace culture, with employees describing a “nightmare” environment following major internal restructures that have led to mass resignations and cuts to patient services.

Multiple staff members have come forward claiming a “toxic” culture under new leadership, with claims of mass resignations, low morale and cuts to crucial services for cancer patients.

Employees described the workplace as a “nightmare,” alleging they have been overworked, undervalued and left fearing for their jobs.

One current employee told The Courier Mail , “Last year we had a great team at CCQ doing great work that we were proud of but under the current leadership people are afraid, stressed out and feel that we have lost the meaning of the job
