A paedophile who groomed two young schoolgirls for years before raping and sexually abusing them has died behind bars.

Harry Carring was sentenced to nine years in jail back in 2021, after being convicted of attacks carries out in Fife and Perth. He targeted young girls before they were teenagers , with the abuse continuing until they were both young adults.

The pensioner died whilst serving time at HMP Low Moss on September 28, the Scottish Prison Service confirmed. Canning was jailed following a trial at the High Court in Livingston in October 2021, reports the Daily Record .
