GLOBE, Ariz. — Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs was in Globe on Saturday to tour damage caused by severe flooding.

Clean-up efforts are underway after catastrophic damage from flood waters that ripped through the city on Sept. 26.

Crews have worked nonstop to clear debris that is scattered throughout the city.

While there, Hobbs toured the Disaster Assistance Center and the Emergency Operations Center.

Both hand crews and heavy equipment have been utilized in cleanup efforts, according to the Department of Forestry and Fire Management, which is one of the many agencies working on recovery efforts.

"Over the past week, crews located and recovered 66 vehicles that were washed away during the flood, including five belonging to a local auto dealership," the agency said.
