AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety stressed the importance of safe driving to teenagers Saturday using a mock crash simulation.
It was part of the From Celebration to Tragedy - The Path of Choice event at the hub.
Teens ages 13 to 19 were able to go through an interactive simulator that shows the real-life impact of crashes, showing what could happen if they are distracted while driving or not wearing a seat belt.
The simulator also followed the aftermath of a crash, finishing with a reflective debriefing.
