DAVENPORT, Iowa. (KWQC) - Fire marshal Jim Morris said a woman intentionally set a fire at a gas station and threatened police with a knife.

Deanne Chanee, 57, is charged with arson and other charges after Morris said she intentionally set a fire near a propane tank at Kwik Star on Kimberly Road in Davenport.

Around 11 p.m. Friday, the fire department arrived at gas station the after reports of a fire burning near a liquid propane storage cage outside of the building, according to Morris.

When crews arrived, Morris said crews noticed light smoke coming from the cage and extinguished it.

Firefighters began investigating and noticed signs that the fire was set intentionally, Morris said.

During the investigation, a woman, later identified as Chanee, returned to the gas station and began
