Despite blowout loss, OSU sees positives after 'whirlwind of a week'

TUCSON, AZ — Doug Meacham downplayed the idea that he and the Oklahoma State coaching staff have been managing chaos within the Cowboy football program over the last two weeks with coaching changes, injuries, decisions by some players to enter the transfer portal and by others to redshirt for the rest of the season.

“Not really. It’s just the way it is,” he said after OSU’s 41-13 loss to Arizona on Saturday at Arizona Stadium in Meacham’s second game as the Cowboys’ interim head coach .
