NAUGATUCK, CT (WFSB) - Police are investigating what they called a “suspicious shed fire” on Friday in Naugatuck.

The fire happened around 5:30 p.m. behind a home on 52 Crown Street.

Emergency crews said the outside addition to the shed was on fire and started spreading to an occupied home next door.

The fire was quickly put out and nobody was displaced.

There was no word on injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
