EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Coming off that exciting win against Buffalo last week, the Huskies had a golden opportunity to pick up their third win in a row at Rentschler Field against Florida International.

The Huskies gave their home fans something to cheer about because this victory marked Jim Mora’s 100th career win.

UConn jumped out to a 17-0 lead and they kept on scoring, taking a 27-3 lead into the halftime break.

The combination of multiple explosive plays on offense along with the defense forcing five turnovers, led UConn to victory, 51 to 10.

This was the second time this season the Huskies had scored +50 in a game.
