Willamette has rallied to be competitive after two early lopsided losses. The Bearcats, coached by former Oregon State defensive back Aric Williams, narrowly lost at Pacific Lutheran on Saturday.

Pacific led in its first Northwest Conference game before giving up 22 fourth-quarter points.
