LOS ANGELES — Quarterback Jayden Daniels will officially make his return to the playing field for the Washington Commanders on Sunday, and he’ll do it less than 100 miles from where he starred at Cajon High School in San Bernardino, California.

Taking on the Los Angeles Chargers in week five, there is a real conversation to be had about whether or not there will be more fans of the Commanders’ quarterback than the home team leader, Justin Herbert.

Sporting a brace on his injured left knee , Daniels’ return is expected to bring a boost of energy for Washington this weekend, even though the defensive side of the ball needs the biggest boost, especially with one of their star players uncertain for the game.
