Colorado head coach Deion Sanders disclosed he was “hurting like crazy” after the Buffaloes’ loss to TCU on Saturday night.

The former NFL star told reporters he believes he has more blood clots in his leg, following a lengthy battle with the complication, multiple surgeries, and a recent cancer diagnosis requiring another operation.

“Cat’s out of the bag, all right. I think I’ve got more blood clots,” the CU head coach said. “It don’t make sense. I’m hurting like crazy. … I’m not getting blood to my leg. That’s why my leg is throbbing.”

Sanders added that he has an appointment to see a doctor on Monday.

“Sorry to get that out, but thank you for noticing,” he said.
