BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Police have released a sketch of a missing Brownsville boy who has been missing for weeks, according to sources.

The 11-year-old, now identified as Jacob Pritchett, was the subject of a wellness check by the NYPD at his Brownsville home on Howard Avenue on Wednesday after the Administration for Children's Services requested the check-up.

Officials said Pritchett was not in the apartment when officers arrived.

Sources said Pritchett's mother was in the unkempt apartment and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. She has not been charged.

The home was sealed off as a crime scene while authorities determine if anything suspicious about Pritchett's disappearance comes to light, according to sources.
