NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — It was another Summer-like day around the tri-state area as southwest winds pushed temperatures into the 80s once again.
Central Park checked in with an afternoon high of 84 degrees, a good 15 degrees above normal. In addition, plenty of sunshine was overhead, and humidity levels stayed on the low side.
Look for conditions to cool off as we move into the evening and overnight hours. Temperatures will drop through the 70s and settle into the low and mid-60s in and around the five boroughs.
A few 50s are likely in northwestern New Jersey, and some 40s are even possible in the Hudson Valley. Skies will be mostly clear.
Expect another round of bright sunshine and summer-like warmth on Monday. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s.
