TriHealth says it is currently working through negotiations with United Healthcare to resume coverage for patients into 2026.

The hospital chain says that its in-network benefits with United Healthcare customers are currently set to expire at the end of 2025, and that it remains uncertain whether an extension deal can be reached. Advertisement

However, TriHealth says it is continuing to hold out hope that a deal can be agreed upon before the end of the year, and that negotiations will continue.

In the interim, TriHealth urges United Healthcare customers to continue their care as usual at its facilities throughout the next three months.

TriHealth says that fundamental issues remain at odds between the two companies, saying that United Healthcare recently "has not been a good partner."
