Los Angeles County officials are moving forward with plans to revive the former Tony P’s Dockside Grill site, reaching an agreement with the California Yacht Club to temporarily occupy the waterfront property while plans for a long-term lease are finalized.

The deal between the Department of Beaches and Harbors and the yacht club allows the property to remain active after Tony P’s, a Marina del Rey mainstay for nearly three decades, closed in July when its owners retired.
