The Prince George’s County Council on Tuesday is scheduled to vote on an aid package for the thousands of residents who have lost federal jobs this year.

Initially, that package included a $1,000 check per laid-off worker, a temporary property tax deferment for up to six months and waived late fees on property taxes.
