New Yorkers looking to further their educations will be able to apply to nearly 130 colleges and universities this month free of charge.

On Monday, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the start of New York State College Application Month, with the State University of New York (SUNY), the City University of New York (CUNY), and dozens of private colleges and universities set to waive their application fees for students across the state.
