Calling all transit buffs! The MTA is once again hosting a sale of used subway system items at its Memorabilia and Collectibles Pop-Up Shop . For two days only, on October 16 and 17, purchase (or just admire) “perfectly imperfect” items, like subway signs, vintage tokens, benches, doors, and other fixtures.

The MTA sells its transit collectibles year-round, but since the pandemic, the agency has held annual in-person pop-up events, too, with special events ahead of the holiday season.

This year, the event takes place outdoors on an empty lot at 23 Avenue X in Gravesend, Brooklyn. The sale will be held on Thursday, October 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and
