BLYTHESDALE, Mo - A Blythesdale boy was injured while riding his motorized dirt bike in Harrison County yesterday.

The accident occurred just before 4:30 at the intersection of Route T and East 182nd Street, one mile south of Blythesdale. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the 11-year-old Blythesdale boy was northbound in a pasture when he struck a small ditch and was ejected from the bike.

He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in Des Moines, Iowa for treatment.
