Sharon Owens has huge fundraising lead in final weeks of Syracuse mayor’s race

Syracuse, N.Y. — Sharon Owens has almost six times more money than her three opponents combined as the Syracuse mayoral race heads into its final month.

Owens , the city’s deputy mayor and the Democratic nominee, reported a campaign fund balance of $126,100 through Sept. 29, giving her a massive monetary advantage over challengers Thomas Babilon , Tim Rudd and Alfonso Davis .
