DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- An investigation is underway after a body was found in an empty lot in Enterprise on Monday.

Captain Billy Haglund with the Enterprise Police Department says the body was found by city workers in a lot along Hickman Road.

Workers found the body shortly before 8:00 p.m.

An identity has not been released.

An investigation is underway by the EPD Criminal Investigation Division.
