SPEARMAN, Texas (KFDA) - Ruben on the Road makes his way to Spearman where he learns how a business that started 26 years ago in Lubbock is continuing to grown in Spearman.

Chad Riggins, co-owner of Horse Creek Boutique, originally started a screen print embroidery business in Lubbock 26 years ago.

“And so the real reason I started it was because I was on the road 80,000 miles a year and we were starting to have kids and I wanted to be around the house,” said Riggins.

He says he wanted to start something where he could set his own schedule.

“So I had a lot of connections with coaches and businesses and stuff like that,” said Riggins. "So what The Sport Zone actually is, is we do anything with a logo on it. So from t-shirts to caps to whatever. And so that’s how it all started."
