MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department needs help identifying a person of interest in a shooting that left one teenager dead and another injured two weeks ago in Raleigh.

MPD released surveillance video Monday showing an unknown man who reportedly walked away from the scene barefoot.

Police say two 16-year-old boys suffering from gunshot wounds showed up at Methodist North Hospital in a maroon Saturn Ion just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 23.

One of those victims was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The other was critically injured and required surgery. At last check, he is in stable condition.

The investigation later revealed that the shooting occurred in the area of Vanderwood Drive and Fortner Avenue.

No arrests have been made so far.
