LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A new report from Louisville’s Office of Violence Prevention documents three years of progress in fighting violent crime in Louisville.

In reaction to the report, Mayor Craig Greenberg said, “The city is on the right track.”

The Taylor Berry neighborhood is one of five Louisville neighborhoods emerging as success stories in rolling back violent crime.

A program called Pivot to Peace is being credited with a 62% reduction in those neighborhoods for the first six months of the year compared to the same time last year.
