IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WROC) — A few days after a man died outside the Lush Resto Lounge on Ridge Road when he crashed through a plate glass window, nearby business owners told News 8 that the lounge operated well into the night and was usually packed to the brim.
These new details come shortly after investigators shared that the business operated without a New York State liquor license. The business is now closed and under investigation by the town.
News 8 saw a notice from the town on the door stating, “This structure is unsafe, and its occupancy has been prohibited.”
A nearby business owner told us the parking lot was usually filled with cars from people attending the lounge well after other stores closed for the night. They did not want to speak on camera or be identified.
