ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman has been charged with allegedly stabbing a man at a gas station on Lyell Avenue.
Officers said they arrived at the scene around 7:15 a.m. and found a 44-year-old man with a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
A 48-year-old woman was accused of the stabbing. She and the victim allegedly knew each other.
According to investigators, a 45-year-old man who was a pistol permit holder was at the business and brandished his handgun at the suspect to stop her.
The suspect, whose name was not released, was apprehended and is facing a second-degree assault charge.
