Nanaimo RCMP says there is “significant concern” for the safety and well-being of a missing 80-year-old woman.
Christine Craigie, 80, went out for a walk at 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning, and has not returned. She was then reported missing at 1:30 p.m.
“Given her age and time away from her home, there is significant concern for her safety and overall well-being,” Nanaimo RCMP said in a news release.
RCMP says she is considered fit and goes for daily walks. She left home with her brown poodle that wears a red collar.
She is described as 5’3″ with medium build, blonde hair and a Swiss accent. She may be wearing a red or blue jacket.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
