A motorcyclist has been charged with assault and dangerous driving after an incident where a video showed a cyclist being pushed from behind by a passing motorcyclist.

The incident occurred on Aug. 2, and was caught on dash cam video, showing a cyclist slowing to make a left hand turn near the intersection of Departure Bay Road and Granite Park Road.

A motorcyclist then approaches from behind, and reaches out and pushes the the cyclist, causing him to lose control and fall into oncoming traffic.
