FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fort Smith Public Schools says one of its teachers was injured in a hit-and-run incident at Bonneville Elementary School on Monday.
The district said in a social media post that a teacher was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in the crosswalk at Bonneville Elementary.
FSPS said the teacher suffered minor injuries and was being checked by medical personnel. No students were involved in the incident.
The Fort Smith Police Department responded to the incident and is investigating, according to FSPS.
