GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) -- The city of Greenville has dismissed its lawsuit against Camping World, after a bill preventing local governments from regulating the size of American flags on private property became law in North Carolina.

Governor Josh Stein allowed House Bill 926 to go into law without his signature. Part of House Bill 926 prevents local governments from regulating the size of American flags on private property.

This bill having been presented to the Governor for signature on the 25th day of September, 2025 and the Governor having failed to approve it within the time prescribed by law, the same is hereby declared to have become a law. This 6th day of October, 2025. - HOUSE BILL 926
