GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (PRESS RELEASE) - A new era of baseball is coming to Grand Island with the announcement that the city will be home to one of six inaugural teams in the Diamond Baseball League (DBL).

The professional-grade collegiate summer league will begin play in 2026, bringing top-level competition and family-friendly entertainment to the community. Now, the DBL is inviting the community to take part in shaping the team’s identity.
