CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State football is entering a critical stretch of its season. After six games, the Beavers are still searching for consistency and a win to turn their season around.

The team is 0-6 for the first time since 1991, marking just the fifth time in program history they’ve started a season winless through six games. The company they’re keeping isn’t encouraging. In three of the four previous 0–6 seasons, the Beavers finished 1-10, and the 1980 team went 0-11.

Oregon State has now lost 12 of its last 13 games, and frustration is mounting.

On Sunday, the Beavers announced that special teams coordinator Jamie Christian had been relieved of his duties.
