LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man who was arrested last month for allegedly threatening to shoot his ex girlfriend’s new boyfriend now faces a first-degree sexual assault charge, court records show.
On Sept. 11, a woman visited a business located near South 40th Street and Old Cheney Road to have lunch with her boyfriend at his job.
According to the arrest affidavit, the woman’s ex boyfriend who she shares a child with, 46-year-old Hasani Jabez, arrived to the business and reportedly threatened to shoot her boyfriend, pulling up his shirt to display a gun tucked into his waistband.
The woman told officers that her boyfriend was assaulted by Jabez two days prior in a related incident.
