PERRYSBURG, Perrysburg Township — Amazon is expanding its footprint in Wood County once again, preparing to break ground on its third facility in the county and its second in Perrysburg Township.
The company plans to build a 200,000-square-foot warehouse on a 37-acre site along Oregon Road, a project estimated at $30 million. According to Wade Gottschalk, director of the Wood County Economic Development Commission, the new site will employ about 150 people full-time and add roughly $4.6 million in annual payroll.
Gottschalk said the project represents continued growth for the region’s logistics and industrial corridor.
