MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile City Council will not meet this week.

The council's usual standing Tuesday meeting will not take place on Oct. 7 due to several council members attending the Mobile Chamber's 38th Annual Leaders Exchange.

The exchange allows elected officials in local government an opportunity to visit other cities and learn about their infrastructure and what makes their city successful.

The council will reconvene next Tuesday, Oct. 14.
