PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — Dozens of Prichard residents who live in District 5 filled the pews of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church on Monday night to share what they want fixed in their neighborhoods.
“Where are the lights, traffic lights? Where are the patrols? Where are the police? Someone needs to be monitoring these areas,” one resident said during the session.
“Shootings on this street here, and the response time from the police was horrendous,” another resident said. “People and perpetrators at dawn, you get here, you find 30–50 bullet casings on the ground.”
