LOWER MORELAND TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike was closed on Monday night following a deadly crash in Montgomery County.

Chopper 6 was over the scene on I-276 eastbound, near mile marker 345.9, between Willow Grove exit 343 and Bensalem exit 351.

Police say the driver of a Ford Mustang collided with a deer that entered the left travel lane.

The impact caused the driver to spin out before hitting the center concrete barrier wall.

The vehicle continued to spin out, and struck the concrete wall several more times before coming to a stop.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

All lanes have since reopened.

This comes just a few weeks after a teen was killed in a freak accident involving a deer in Chester County.
