PERRY, Ga. — It may have been a muggy Monday, but the crowds didn’t seem to mind at the Georgia National Fairgrounds.

From educational exhibits to classic fair food, guests found plenty to enjoy — even as the rain started to fall.

One popular stop was Georgia’s Mobile Dairy Classroom, led by Nicole Duvall, who helps families connect with the source of their food.

“It’s really fun to see people make connections with where their food comes from,” Duvall said. “Our dairy farmers work tremendously hard to provide a safe and nutritious product for consumers."

Duvall, the program coordinator, brings cows from Madison, Georgia, to give families a close-up look at how dairy products are made from the farm to the fridge.
