It’s been one month since Hamilton County Schools ended its nearly 10-year partnership with mental health provider Centerstone — a decision that has sparked public criticism and ongoing debate.

In a press conference, Centerstone officials pushed back against what they call “outrageous and egregious” claims made about their services. Regional Vice President Daniel Mansfield said the organization wants to set the record straight.

“It is imperative that we address any misinformation, hearsay, and conjecture by providing the public with the facts and the reasoning behind school-based behavioral health care in Hamilton County, Tennessee,” Mansfield said.
