FREEPORT, Texas (CW39) — Dow Texas Operations said on their Facebook page that a fire that broke out Monday night at its Plant B facility in Freeport, TX, has been contained, with no injuries reported.

According to the company’s final update posted to social media at 11:15 p.m., all employees have been accounted for, and the blaze was fully contained within the plant site.

“Our site leadership and emergency response team worked closely with local emergency services and community stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of our site and surrounding area,” Dow Texas Operations said. “Thank you to our Emergency Services for their outstanding response.”
