Democrat Chad Ryan is making a return to politics, running for a seat in the Onondaga County Legislature that has been in his family for over 40 years.

The former Syracuse Common Councilor is back in the political sphere after leaving his Common Council seat in 2019. Ryan is running for the 8th District seat in the Onondaga County Legislature, advocating for more moderate policies that, he says, please everyone in his district.
