Kottayam: Days after the children of Jessy, a 49-year-old woman had been missing, it has come as a major shock for the family after he body was found in a gorge, 60 kilometres away from her house in Kottayam. But what turned later came as a shocker for her children and the entire family when it was found that her husband Sam was behind the murder.

Jessy and her husband Sam George, who lived in Kerala’s Kottayam, were estranged and were involved in an acrimonious court case, and the family feared the worst.

On October 3, police arrested Kappadakunnel Sam George, 59, for killing Jessy. The police pinned down Sam after they managed to get clear evidence of his involvement. The estranged couple, according to the police, lived separately under the same roof in Kottayam’s Kanakkary vil
