Dick Van Dyke is cracking jokes about his death.

The Hollywood icon, 99, and his wife, Arlene Silver, 54, took part in a charity event in Malibu, Calif. on Sunday and spoke about his upcoming milestone birthday that falls on Dec. 13.

“That’s right. I’m not officially a hundred until December,” Van Dyke said, per People . “Two months. Two months.” 9

“It’d be funny if I didn’t make it,” the comedian jokingly added.

Later in the event, Van Dyke said, “I brag sometimes about how I made it to a hundred and the truth is, if I had known I was going to live this long, I would’ve taken better care of myself.”

“And it is frustrating because I don’t know what I did right,” the Emmy Award winner continued, adding, “Other than her [Silver], I didn’t do anything right.” 9
