UPDATE: The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking for information about a deadly stabbing last week in Whitfield County.

The GBI says on October 1, 33-year-old Requiya Kierra Reynolds showed up, covered in blood, at the Dollar General on Beaverdale Road.

The GBI says Reynolds told a first responder at the scene that she stabbed 59-year-old Michael Cronan at a home in the 2200 block of Dawnville Beaverdale Road.

Cronan was found dead with stab wounds on the living room floor by Whitfield County deputies.

Reynolds is charged with murder and is being held without bond.

The GBI is now investigating the incident.
