Pop star Benson Boone joyously biked with Portland’s Bike Bus on Friday.

A brief social media campaign encouraged the mustachioed singer to join the Bike Bus when his tour came to Portland.

Before he played his show at the Moda Center on Oct. 3, he stopped by to see ride leader Samuel Balto and the Bike Bus kids.

Bike Bus PDX was born on Earth Day 2022 and is led by former teacher, now full-time Bike Bus World nonprofit operator, Balto. Today, it is a flourishing alternative transportation for groups of kids and parents who all bike together to schools all over the city.
