THIS is the terrifying moment a mum is killed in a Wild West-style shootout after opening fire on a travellers’ camp.

Dolores Dori, 44, reportedly drove to the settlement in the hope of retrieving her daughter – who was living there with her boyfriend and his family “against her wishes”.

Dolores left her home in Camponogara, near Venice, Italy on October 2 with her husband, 16-year-old son and 59-year-old mum.

Cops said the group travelled to Lonato del Garda camp, near tourist hot-spot Lake Garda, where the daughter was living.

When they arrived at the residency’s gate, Dolores and her mum then opened fire.

A resident, who has yet to be identified, then shot back - hitting Dolores in the leg and stomach.
