MARK Sanchez's alleged victim faces a "lengthy recovery" after being released from hospital.

Perry Tole, 69, suffered serious facial injuries after an alleged altercation with the former NFL quarterback in Indianapolis.

The truck driver claims to have been permanently disfigured after clashing with Sanchez in the early hours of Saturday.

Tole and Sanchez were embroiled in a fight before the ex- NFL star was allegedly pepper-sprayed.

The driver claims he feared for his life before stabbing Sanchez several times, according to court documents seen by The U.S. Sun.

Tole filed a civil lawsuit against Sanchez on Monday , claiming he "suffered permanent disfigurement, loss of function, other physical injuries, emotional distress, and other damages."
