Armed Port Huron man suspected of carjacking leads Macomb police on a miles

Several Macomb County schools were locked down Monday as an armed carjacking-and-home invasion suspect fled from police in a miles-long pursuit that started in Harrison Township, according to police.

The lockdown was done as a safety precaution as the suspect was also on foot at some points during the incident, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said.
